Royal Wedding 2011

Here at Energist we have the Energist Charity Team.  The team was set up in January 2010 with the purpose of increasing the fund raising efforts across the whole company.

During 2011 Energist supported many charities in the UK and internationally, including:

The British Heart Foundation
Japanese Tsunami Appeal for the British Red Cross
The Royal United Hospital in Bath
Oxfams East Africa Food Crisis
Children in need

We held many events including a Royal Wedding themed street party and a Flower Power day. (Any excuse for fun!).

The Energist Charity Team kicked the New year off with a multi-cultural event!

On Friday 27th January we celebrated Chinese New Year (which was officially Monday 23rd Jan 2012). We took hold of the theme of the ‘year of the dragon' and team members paid £3 each for a buffet lovingly prepared by the charity team themselves. We also had a special talk by none other than our own Ellie Wang (Plan Assessor) who talked to us about Chinese New Year and the Chinese Culture.

Everyone left the event feeling full of yummy food and knowledge; the event raised £101 in total all of which has been donated to Save the Children for use in their Chinese appeal.

Love was in the air at Energist on Tuesday the 14th Feb!

The day included decorating heart shaped biscuits (some of which went between colleagues!), a Valentines themed quiz, opportunities to buy loved ones a single Red Rose and colleagues dressed in the colours of the day!

It was a fun day for all and we raised £52 for The British Heart Foundation,
