For newly constructed buildings, the Energy Performance Certificate can be produced from the data gathered for the SBEM Calculation, which shows the building is compliant with Part L.

For existing buildings, an Energist assessor will visit your building and record specific details bout the age, condition and fabric of the building, as well as heating, cooling and lighting details. We will then produce your EPC from this information.

The energy performance of a building is identified using an 'A' to 'G' rating system, similar to the energy saving ratings provided with a fridge or washing machine. 'A' is the most efficient and 'G' the least efficient with the energy performance of the building shown as a CO2 based index.
