Celebrating 3 years of business success!

This week Energist is celebrating 3 years in business.

Energist was founded in 2006 by father and daughter team Don Howard and Sarah Fenwick. Now several office moves and almost 3 years later, Energist employs over 35 people and is still growing.

Energist specialises in Part L Building Regulations and sustainable energy solutions, and demand is driven by Government Policy on climate change and how this relates to building design and construction.

Sarah Fenwick, Energist Managing Director said: "Energist has come a long way in 3 years - from starting up in Don's front room, to our current site in Kemble, and several other stepping stones along the way! We are really proud to still be growing, despite the current economic conditions. We want to celebrate our success and say a big thank you to the team who have been a part of it - we couldn't have done it without them!"

There are several celebrations planned staring with a "How well do you know the Boss" quiz on 27th July. Then on 29th July staff have been asked to wear tracksuits to work - although the reasons for the sporty attire are being kept under wraps! And to finish the week, a party where Energist's success will be toasted with credit crunch punch!

Party hats are also high on the agenda for the celebrations. Energist customers have been asked to join in the celebrations with an invitation to design a party hat and then send Energist a photograph of them in their hat. 3 lucky winners will each receive a chocolate hamper.

Sarah Fenwick, Energist Managing Director: "Our customers are key to everything we do. Without our customers we wouldn't have a business and we pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service, so we're inviting customers to share in our celebrations. As they are spread across the UK a "party hat" competition with yummy prizes seems like a good way to involve them and thank them for supporting our success!"

 And still on the theme of party hats, the Energist team also have the chance to win a prize for the best party hat, so to get the ball rolling, on Wednesday 22nd July, some of them will be making party hats with children from Gooseberry Bush Day Nursery, one of Energist's neighbours at Kemble Enterprise Park. Sarah Fenwick, Energist Managing Director: "We are really lucky to have a great facility like the Nursery so close as it's really convenient for staff. And involving some of the children in making party hats to help us celebrate our 3 year anniversary is a great way to kick start our celebrations"
