We are specialist consultants in energy and sustainability. Delivering solutions that improve energy efficiency, we’re supporting the creation of quality homes, offices and retail spaces across the UK.
We work alongside developers, builders, designers and architects ensuring adherence with regulations. Central to our service is reducing risk – but while we take our work seriously, ours is a fun, friendly workplace.
We’re a close-knit team, priding ourselves on our kindness as much as our knowledge. Our managers are approachable, committed to transparency and recognising effort. How we recruit

Our three-stage selection process ensures new team members are the right fit for Energist – and us for you.
First, we’ll ask for a CV and covering letter before inviting appropriate applicants to interview. We also ask candidates to complete a Colour Works profiling exercise. We want to understand your strengths, ambitions and working style.
Depending on the nature of the role we’ll hold a second interview, including asking you to give a short presentation or meet with our senior team.
We welcome speculative approaches and will hang on to CVs for future opportunities (stored securely and never shared elsewhere).
Recruiters and agencies with an understanding of our sector are also welcome to approach us.
