This role will enable Energist to expand it’s client based within the National accounts sector, including major housebuilders and national contractors. The role will work closely with our Nationals Business Development Manager, to account manage our existing spenders with a view to growing both our service provision and overall revenue, through a consultative technical sales approach.


The role will involve:

  • You will be primarily responsible for growing sales revenue within our existing accounts in the Nationals market (companies with annual turnover of more than £100m), through a combination of face to face meetings, phone and email sales activity.
  • Through a consultative selling approach, diagnose our clients needs and provide them with appropriate technical solutions to support their development program, working closely with our technical team and sub-consultant network.
  • Create long term strategic objectives for all accounts and grow them in accordance with agreed plans with the National sales team.
  • Attend meetings with clients to provide training, introduce Energist and our services and develop relationships with a view to securing tender opportunities.
  • Achieve the Businesses Key Performance Indicators
  • Any other task which is deemed appropriate



  • Experience in Account Management, ideally in construction or technical based sales would be preferable within large or national client bases.
  • Use to working in a target driven sales team

Our head office is in Cirencester which is open for meetings and team building exercises (currently limited due to COVID), this role will be home based and as the COVID restrictions are lifted will involve client meetings on site when required as well as team meetings in the Head Office or an agreed location.
