Energy & Sustainability Advisor
What are we looking for?
Energist UK Ltd has an exciting opportunity for an Energy and Sustainability Advisor to join our growing planning team working in a predominantly home-based role (with travel as necessary). The role will involve working closely with Senior and Principal specialists to delivery energy and sustainability strategies across a variety of developments, with a drive for excellent service delivery, through technical expertise and effective communication skills. The role will be externally facing, and the individual should have experience in supporting the delivery of energy and sustainability assessments through the planning process.
Salary: £30k dependant on experience

Qualifications & Experience
Key tasks
- Working closely with our Senior and Principal Specialists to support the delivery of energy and sustainability strategies through the planning process, to ensure seamless service delivery of client expectations.
- Undertake sample SAP and SBEM assessments and inputting relevant data into datasheets to to inform development performance.
- Production of energy statements for minor development and feeding into Energy Strategies for major development.
- Attend project and design team meetings in conjunction with Senior Specialists.
- Liaising closely with clients ensuring a clear understanding of deadlines for projects.
- Identify scope creep and informing the relevant person to seek additional work where required.
- Providing project advise when required across the client team.
- Producing reports for clients against tight deadlines.
- Liaison with the client team to facilitate the flow of information.
- Dealing with internal and external queries by telephone and email.
