Junior Energy & Sustainability Specialist (Modeller)

The purpose of this role is for an ambitious thermal modeler who is eager to learn and develop as part of an experienced team.

What Are We Looking For?

The successful candidate should be confident in their ability to build models within IESVE and be able to deliver thermal models in tight timeframes.

The successful candidate will work in our Planning Team, however, might be required to interact with technical and sustainability specialists across all Teams at Energist UK.

The candidate will be required to work independently under the guidance of Energist UK’s Planning Manager.

Key Tasks

  • Min 1 years’ experience using the software IES VE.
  • Should be able to demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Using CAD software
  • Understanding of building physics and broader sustainability elements is ideal
  • Co-ordinating and delivering projects – working in a building physics capacity is ideal.
  • Dealing with internal and external queries by telephone and email
  • Generating Reports using the CRM system

Qualifications & Experience

  • GCSE Math’s Grade C or above
  • Computer Literate – Microsoft Suite
  • Experienced in IESVE modelling
  • CAD – Desirable
