Future Homes Standard SmartTypes: A smarter way to deliver repeat house types

One of the consistent themes we see when discussing both SAP 10.3 & the Future Homes Standard is how developers manage performance risk as specifications tighten, particularly when delivering repeat house types across multiple sites.

As compliance margins reduce, small inconsistencies in modelling or specification can quickly lead to redesign, delay and unexpected cost.

This is why we’ve developed SmartTypes. This is a structured way to validate standard house types once and apply them consistently across future developments.

The result is a faster, more predictable approach to meeting energy, overheating and water efficiency requirements particularly as the industry prepares for the Future Homes Standard. The result is a reusable compliance model library that can be applied across future developments.

Michael, our Principle Consultant explains how this works in the 2 minute video below… 👇
